Discoverable Creators on Mega Donkey

What is the Discoverable Creators list?

Mega Donkey is an Australian micro-influencer marketplace. Our signed-up creators ("members") have full profiles and set rates. The Discoverable Creators list is a separate, recruitable pool of public AU creators we've sourced from publicly-available TikTok bios that include a business email. Brands using our platform can surface these profiles in search and, if they want to work with one, we send a paid-collaboration invitation to the email in the bio.

We only include profiles where the creator has publicly published a business email in their bio. Under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), a conspicuously-published business email plus a relevant business message gives us inferred consent to contact you. Section 5 of this page sets out the exact rules we follow.

What we hold

• Your TikTok @username and the URL of your TikTok profile
• The business email address you published in your bio
• Public follower count, verification flag, and recent video metrics (engagement rate, average views, posting frequency)
• Your bio text and any link in your bio (e.g. Linktree)
• A short list of inferred content categories (e.g. Fashion, Food & Culinary) for brand search

We do not store or display your TikTok profile picture in our brand UI. We do not hold sensitive information (health, political views, etc.). We do not buy your data — every record originates from public TikTok bios we scraped via Apify.

How brands see your profile

Your record is shown in the brand UI with a persistent "Discoverable" badge — never as a "member" or "creator on Mega Donkey". Brands see your username, follower count, engagement rate, content categories, and a "View on TikTok" link that opens your actual profile. Your contact email is never shown to brands directly — only our automated outreach system uses it, and only when a brand specifically requests outreach to you.

Why we have your data

Connecting brands with creators is our core business. The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) Australian Privacy Principle 3 permits collection where it's reasonably necessary for the entity's functions, and the data we collect is the minimum required for a brand to decide whether to invite you to a paid collaboration.

Australia's micro-influencer market is hard to navigate without a discovery tool. The alternative — every brand cold-DMing creators one at a time — is worse for everyone, including you. We try to make the inviting process structured, paid, and clearly opt-in on your side.

How long we keep it

Your record stays in our list while it's actively serving its purpose. Specifically:

• Permanently removed within 7 days if you opt out using the form on this page (see right) or email privacy@megadonkey.com.au.
• Stale records pruned — if your last public TikTok post is older than 24 months on our next refresh, we delete the record automatically.
• Onboarded — if you sign up to Mega Donkey as a member, your Discoverable record is replaced by your full member profile (you control everything from then on).

Your rights — Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can:

• Opt out — use the form on this page; we hard-delete within 7 days.
• Access what we hold — email privacy@megadonkey.com.au and we'll send you a copy of your record within 30 days.
• Correct anything inaccurate — same email, we update within 30 days.
• Complain — to us first at the email above. If we don't resolve it, you can escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Outreach — Spam Act 2003 (Cth) compliance

If a brand on Mega Donkey invites you to a paid collaboration, you'll receive an email from hello@mail.megadonkey.com.au. Every email contains:

• Sender identification: Deloosh Pty Ltd (ABN 49 134 716 377), trading as Mega Donkey
• The reason we're contacting you (paid collaboration invite, value, brand)
• A working one-click unsubscribe — honoured within 5 business days as required by s 18 of the Spam Act
• This opt-out page link

We respect inferred-consent boundaries. If you remove your email from your TikTok bio, we'll respect that too: the next refresh will catch the change and your record will fall out of the list automatically.
